Hello, 

Recently, the City of Toronto asked its citizens to share their thoughts around reimagining Toronto's homelessness services and programs. We had a great response, with hundreds of people openly sharing ideas and suggesting solutions.

 

Our objective was to examine how the language used to describe the services provided to people experiencing homelessness can better reflect the values and intended outcomes of those services.

 

We learned a lot. 

 

In  this survey, we share a few of these learnings and ask you to rate some alternative ways of describing "shelters".
